Enable Google Analytics 4 Session-ID integration

Modified on Tue, 06 Jun 2023 at 11:11 AM

CUX integration with Google Analytics 4 consists in extracting the session ID from GA4 and sending this information to CUX. Thanks to this, it is the ID becomes the link between quantitative (GA4) and qualitative (CUX) data.

This allows you to combine the behavior of individual sessions with data from CUX and – vice versa – with data from Google Analytics 4.

CUX can show you the session ID where users have encountered some problems on your site. With the session ID, you can prepare a segment in GA4 and check more detailed information about these users or set up a remarketing campaign targeted at them. The possibilities are endless.

To enable CUX x GA4 integration, you need to do 2 things:

  1. Go to Settings and choose “Integrations”.
  2. Switch a toggle to enable integration with your Google Analytics 4 account.
